Bright Start Early Childhood Center offers a safe environment where we believe in nurturing the whole child – socially, emotionally, mentally and physically. We offer a developmentally appropriate childcare center where your child can be introduced to an academic setting in a fun, inclusive, and supportive way in hopes of fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Since Bright Start first opened in 2000, our mission has been to provide a safe, engaging space, full of enriching developmental opportunities. We encourage our students to fully immerse themselves in each of our activities, so they may thrive and grow, while building a strong foundation for their future transition into a traditional school setting.

Bright Start is a non-sectarian learning center that is located on Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church grounds. We are open Monday through Friday year-round. As a non-profit center, we offer a multitude of different scheduling options to best fit your child’s and family’s needs. Bright Start also accepts and offers tuition assistance to families that are income eligible, as well as on-going enrollment throughout the year, when capacity allows.
